Nigel has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry and manages a franchise building company. He holds positions on various boards, including as director of several building companies and the Registered Master Builders Association.

Alan Bickers
Alan has had a lengthy career in civil engineering, management, consulting and governance. He has substantial experience with building regulatory functions, including building consents and compliance.

Dr Lisbeth Jacobs
Lisbeth has 20 years of corporate leadership and strategy experience, and a deep knowledge of materials engineering and product research. Formerly GM Innovation and Sustainability at Fletcher Building she is Global General Manager at Gallagher.

Alister Lawrence
Alister brings diverse leadership experience in large Corporates, the Cooperative business model, private companies and Not For Profit Organisations across sectors covering healthcare, education, manufacturing, and building and construction.

Mike Sang
Mike has 20 years’ experience working with, and on, boards as a non-executive Director, Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer across multiple sectors, including seven years as Chief Executive of Ngāi Tahu Holdings Corp.

Erica Seville
Erica brings a depth of understanding of the construction, build, and infrastructure sectors through a research perspective. Erica is in her second term as EQC Commissioner.
